Miss Gina started dancing when she was 3 years old at various studios throughout Rockland County, she danced at Steeltoes when she was 6 years old & Miss Kathy was her teacher! She started out as an assistant teacher when she was 18 years old and has been with us ever since. She has since become a certified dance instructor teaching Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop & Ballet to all ages throughout her years here at Steeltoes.

If you stumble, make it part of the dance.

This is Rennie’s 3nd year at Steeltoes Dance Studio. She has been dancing for over 10 years and still enjoys every minute of it. Rennie studied dance at Hunter College, participated in the Summer Performance Workshop at Alvin Ailey, Summer Conservatory Program at Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and most recently flew to California to partake in Debbie Allen’s Summer Dance Intensive. She enjoys teaching, and loves seeing the progress of students as they bring her work to life. The passion the students have mimics her own and she is enjoying her time at Steeltoes Dance Studio

Mariah began her dance training at the age of 2, and has known that this was her passion ever since. She trained under Diego Funes throughout her high school career, and went on to train with him at Peridance Capezio Center in New York. She continued her studies at Stockton University where she was a dance major. While at Stockton she choreographed for numerous student showcases and dance concerts. She was captain of the Stockton University Dance Team and won numerous awards at competitions all over New Jersey and has danced for the Philadelphia 76ers pre-game show at the Wells Fargo Arena. She is currently furthering her studies in nutrition and exercise science at Montclair State University. Mariah is so excited to share her love of dance with the students at Steeltoes!

Taylor has been dancing for 15 years and recently completed her last year at her studio in Hackettstown, NJ. She attends Ramapo College of New Jersey as an Elementary Education major. She hopes to one day be, both, a school teacher and dance teacher. She looks forward to taking her first steps towards these goals at Steeltoes Dance as a teacher’s assistant and teacher.

Gianna Notaro began dancing at the age of 2 and grew up performing and competing at various dance competitions throughout the tri-state area. Gianna has formally trained under some big names such as SYTYCD’s Howard Johnson, Broadway Dancer/Singer/Actress Kierstyn Sharrow, and more. In the past, she’s performed in annual showcases and recitals, as well as in holiday parades, halftime shows, events at local schools, charity auctions, and fundraisers. Gianna has danced with the Moscow Ballet Company in multiple performances of The Nutcracker. Gianna has won multiple awards, not only for her dancing, but also for her choreography. She is a member of the dance team at her college and is also continuing to pursue her degree in Communications, with minors in Art, Music, and Theatre. Gianna continues to take classes with choreographers such as Travis Wall, Ian Eastwood, and Brian Friedman. Gianna loves learning new techniques to bring to her students. She loves the art of dance and instilling great dance technique, passion, and movement quality into all of the dancers that she works with.

Victoria started dancing at the age of 4, under the instruction of Emmy nominated choreographer Anthony Morigerato in her upstate New York home. Victoria graduated from Manhattanville College with a Dance Major and a Minor in Sport Studies. Over her past four years there, she worked with numerous choreographers such as; Ara Fitzgerald, Shawn Bible, Heather Cornell, Mike Esperanza, and Leah Ives. She was also the captain of their dance team her Junior and Senior year. Victoria loves dance and still hopes to perform for as long as she can, while also continuing her passion for teaching dance to students of all ages!

Jen has been studying ballet, tap, and jazz since she’s four years old. After many years of teaching high school and college English, she returned to school to complete her dance degree and is now a New York State certified K-12 Dance Instructor. She has taken classes at the 92nd Street Y Dance Lab in NYC, and in July 2017 she became certified in Simonson Technique (a dance style that is injury preventative and prepares dancers for modern, contemporary, and jazz dance) under the training of Lynn Simonson. Dance brings Jen a deep sense of joy and she loves sharing this joy with her students.
